Communication was lacking, which left me having to fight and communicate, which at times was exhausting, confusing and lonely. I fully understand it comes to a lack of funding, however bedside manner could do with improvement - not to feel judged when disclosing thoughts, or the sighing, eye rolls when you reach out for help. There seemed to be a rush when diagnosing, that in actual fact things were missed. So I’d end up being re-referred.

Suggested improvements
Be warmer when someone reaches out for help. It isn’t one size fits all, if someone is “functioning” for example, staff would unfortunately show that your concerns weren’t as important as someone who say is homeless. Communicate better amongst each specialty.
