For the first time in my life and at the age of 44 I found myself in hospital to have a C6 / C7 cervical discretionary and cage fusion. (AC DP). I can admit that I was scared and nervous. I can’t thank in words my appreciation and heart felt wishes to all the team / people I met at Hull RI, ward 4, pre op team, anaesthetist, consultant, post op team, recovery, caterers (who even got me ice cream for breakfast) just truly amazing. You work such long shifts from start to finish and never stop. Always on the go and always have the patients best interests at heart. You are a credit to yourself as individuals and your chosen career. Thank you for all you did for me.
