Review of Admiral Nursing Service

Chrissy arrived for her first visit into a chaotic situation with my husband in delirium. She helped to calm him, helped change the bed, collected 'just in case' pack.
Suggested improvements
From pharmacy spoke to our doctor and gave me valuable advice. My husband was taken to hospital and died a week later I wish I had met her sooner!

I learnt today (alongside the patient) of the plan to move them out of the hospice. My understanding to date was that the patient was in hospice for end of life care. Would have been better to have known sooner in the process that this might happen. Thanks.

The staff have been attentive and the care has been individualised. This is a special place much valued by us at this time of great need for us.

Up to this point I have received little support from the NHS system apart from that I have needed to 'fight' for as a carer.
