East Devon. Since being diagnosed with cancer in the last three months, the treatment and help I have had from R.D.E Exeter and hospiscare has been very helpful after my stay in hospital. Hospiscare has now been to see me at home and given me a lot of information of what to do as things get worse.

All the professionals who dealt with me were compassionate and caring at the “Jeane” House Exeter. I attended four sessions which dealt with conditions like anxiety, relaxation and breathing. It would have been – in my opinion – more advantages (a) if more people attended (we were never more than there for with these “professionals”). (b) Opportunities to socialize we have received there complementary therapy sessions – my husband, the patient is not sure of their efficiency for him personally. We are aware that there is a day once for week (?) when those who are similarly disabled are invited to attend for half/whole day? So far, the patient – my husband – who would love to be able to socialize with others him not invited. I appreciate the complementary therapy sessions! Thank you.

I had an accident while at a day visit I was so embarrassed but the staff made me feel that it was alright and it happens to other patients. That meant a lot to me and I enjoy going to my hospice twice a week.

We are so grateful that Becky has helped me through a difficult 2019. Her visits cheered me and the fact that she relieved me from speaking to various specialist nurses regarding my condition meant so much. Becky was an absolute godsend.

First and for all I feel the need to thank you immensely for the care and concern your team has had for our family. You are wonderful people and I wish the rest of the world could have such care, believe me when you have lived abroad like we have, we realize how privileged we are. You have given us the advice the support and have always answered positively to our needs I have nothing negative to say but thank you.
