Everything was good.
My care is wonderful, the therapists are kind and gentle and help me relax after the loss of my husband in December I feel at ease and able to talk to them, the therapy is relaxing and helps me with my anxiety.
I was a bit apprehensive about having any treatments but so glad I did. I go in there, get pampered and forget about my home life for the hour, having a family member that is so poorly, we often forget ourselfs. My little escape place. The ladys there do a fabulous job and are worth there weight in gold.
Thank you so much.
Extremely friendly and helpful nurses willing to listen to your concerns and do something about it.
Although you contact hospice care at the weekend you are not likely to get to see anyone until the Monday, that was the situation here in Tiverton as the weekend call centre is in Oakhampton.
Although we could have contacted the doctors in extremes, sometimes you just need the nurse to pop in and make a decision about pain relief.
Good.
The fact that a knowledgeable nurse came round to the house on several occasions. and also continued to phone when things were difficult.
Could be improved - nothing!
The hospice team have demonstrated and continue to do so, compassion and care. It feels you have a friend who understands, in what is a very difficult situation. (We have two adult children with terminal conditions).
To have a team of medical professionals, who talk to each other and us is extremely supportive, we never have to explain things a second time, which is very reassuring.
