The nurses were all very caring, not rushed, had a great manner and listened even in difficult circumstances and provided really great help and support when we needed them.

In between visits from the hospice care nurses we had carers from UCR as part of the hospicecare at home service. These carers were also really nice and caring and provided great help but they didn't offer the same bedside manner as the hospicecare nurses, not always showing the same approach with someone needing gentle palliative care. Would they benefit from shadowing the hospicecare nurses occassionally to see their approach?
