Share review of Goring Hall Hospital - part of Circle Health Group
The nursing staff were very polite, caring and attentive as always.
The porter and nurse came to take me down to theatre but it turned out that they had come for the wrong person as there was another patient with the same surname.
Wednesday morning the fire alarms went off and my door closed. When I asked the nurses about it they said they always tested the fire alarm on a Wednesday morning. I think patients who will be in hospital then should be told of this in advance.
It took a long time to be discharged. My consultant had asked for specific medication. The pharmacist hadn't prescribed it as they don't stock it. After speaking to my consultant's PA it was agreed that I did need this medication. It took 1 1/2 hours for this to be sorted out and for me to be discharged with my husband waiting to get back to work.
