A lot of my community midwife appointments at freshney green were rescheduled due to short staffing, two of which were after the 40 week mark which made me really anxious. Also at one appointment A midwife tried to pressurise me into getting my covid jab. I know it’s recommended in pregnancy however it is personal choice and one of the midwives I saw went into what I thought was too personal details about another patient currently in intensive care after contracting covid, it was like she was trying to scare me into getting my vaccine when my decision was to wait until my baby was born. I left the appointment and cried.
