Share review of George Eliot Hospital

The Ward was a small unit of about 6 beds. It was generally clean and hygiene was observed.The Staff were very professional and approachable. Always had the time, even though it was obvious they were very stretched. My only negative observation is that I waited 12 hours to be discharged, with no discernible information being available for the Ward Staff. In the end they kept me in another night as the Pharmacy was then closed. I thought this was ‘bed blocking’ and inefficient as I know beds were gold dust. Also, obviously it was very frustrating as by that time you just want to get home. But, in hindsight this is a trivial and small thing and impacted on you and your bed situation more than me. Thank you once again for your impeccible care.
