I was sent to A&E by the nurses from my work place. I was informed to go to the urgent treatment centre by a nurse at the hospital. The receptionist asked me to write my details down, this kept my detail’s private because the waiting area was close. The lady also advised me that it could be up to a 4 hour wait, not bad really for how busy the hospital appeared. Once I was called (approx.2hrs 15mins later), the doctor asked a few questions, took a urine sample, after a quick test, he returned to inform me that I had a uti. I also thought I had recently suffered with tonsillitis, it was strep throat. I only attended due to feeling dizzy and a very high blood pressure, I left feeling a lot better which I would say was because the doctor was listening to my symptoms, and acting on his knowledge. He was a really great guy, relaxed my nerves as soon as I entered his office, even had me laughing. I left with all that I needed, feeling like a weight had been lifted, and waiting in a chemist, in less than 4 hours. The service I received from start to finish was Exceptional.
