In my appointment I was made to feel as though my symptoms were all in my head as soon as the doctor asked what medication I was taking and I said Sertraline. He said the pain I was experiencing was a ‘subjective’ thing and there wasn’t much he could do for me, he prescribed me Amitryptiline which has done nothing and I’m in constant intense pain still in my neck, my head, behind my ears, above my collarbone and my shoulder. I feel very let down as I was advised to go to hospital by my own doctors, the only positive experience was that I wasn’t waiting for hours however nothing has changed for me and I am still suffering with this intense pain and not getting hardly any sleep.

Suggested improvements
Not try to rush patients out with hardly any advice/help, listen to them when they genuinely have a problem that won’t go away and not make patients feel as though it’s their fault that the GP’s are not seeing people in person when they have been advised to go to hospital, all things that are out of the patients control.
