The 111 gentleman that answered our call initially was brilliant, kind, caring and gave very good advice, the Dr that called us back was really lovely, put me at ease, lovely kind lady doctor and I was given medication I needed, only negative was the 6 hour wait for the call back but I understand they are very busy also and gentleman who answered my initial call consulted with nurse to give me great advice on what to do within the 6 hours wait to help my pain and what symptoms would need me to call 999 or call 111 back! Extremely good service and I'm very grateful for this service, much easier and smoother than trying to see my own gp within their working hours actually, thank you

Only negative was 6 hour wait to be called back but understand triage system and how busy this service is, as with most NHS services more staffing is needed but this is obviously out of their control! Excellent service
