little knowledge on wards about conditions like addisons disease and being steroid dependent and needing these on time

up staffing levels of nurses and carers. no morning drinks before breakfast due to incidents however need more staff. late with meds due to lack of staff members

down in a&e the staff was very good but tried by my daughters and grandaughters to call and wasnt getting no success and waiting through out night for a bed.

The hospital staff were absolutely outstanding and deserve to be congratulated on the quality of care they provide. Nobody wants to be in hospital, but the DPOW team are brilliant, both in the quality of care that they provide, and the wonderful humanity they show to their patients. The Grimsby area inhabitants are extremely fortunate to have such a brilliant hospital serving them

As an NHS AHP I am reluctant to say anything negative about my colleagues knowing what a difficult job we all do. But the Dr I saw on my visit to A&E on 01 June 2023 was nothing but patronizing and rude. Maybe he would like to reflect upon why he is doing that role?

I discreetly informed all members of staff that my son was autistic/adhd as my son does not like people to know and everyone respected this and gave extra understanding towards him.
Suggested improvements
Wait time was difficult for an autistic/adhd person would have preferred to have been seen straight away with no waiting.
