I was waiting for over 12 hours when 8 of them was for a bed.
As an autistic and disabled person who was sat in a chair that was highly uncomfortable and caused me a high amount of pain the condition which I went in there for worsened.
On top of this my mother who was with me due to my vulnerability got injured by a drunken man who was fetched into the a&e department which was apologised for however they then proceeded to give the man a coffee and let his shout and swear within the premises for another 25 minutes whilst the security guards circled him and kept speaking to him even though it was making him worse.
I ended up having to leave the department due to the pain I was in with my other medical conditions. I also had a panic attack due to the pressure and stress which this endeavour caused me. That also means I am no closer to answers however I am now not able to do this or experience this service again.
I hemorrhaged a few times it was very scary looking back but my midwife was amazing she stayed with me the whole time until I'd had my daughter and essentially saved my life
She deserves a lifetime supply of caramac
Forever grateful for midwives like her and the nhs
I can't really remember a.lot what happened apparently I had a diabetic episode at Cambridge Park who said I'd be better off getting checked out so! I decided to hospital I was in the ambulance nearly all the time with paramedics Kate and Tom who was excellent x
You hear bad press about the nhs in general .
I for one, being a patient for the first time in years found the whole experience, apart from waiting, which you fully expect a very good one.
Very good
