I was left for over several hours to sit bleeding while loosing my baby waiting to be seen. I was not asked if I wanted any pain relief I had to sit there waiting. The receptionist was extremely rude and wasn’t appreciated. It’s disgusting how a woman losing a child was treated due to this so called care system

Prioritise your patients. Several people were seen before Me some with broken toes and others with minor issues. It’s disgusting how you treat women in child loss to sit and bleed for hours without any remorse

What an absolute joke the endoscopy unit is. Told them from word go that I can't take prep for colonoscopy due to severe allergy to citric acid that all 3 preps contain. No problem they said. Took covid test isolated 3 days turn up for appointment to be told can't do test without you having prep. Well stuff it. Not going back again. Will learn to live with chronic diarrhea. Cheers grimsby hospital for nothing. Include in that a suggestion I might need more bowel removing if the test had shown anything. You are having a laugh. Wouldn't trust you to use a knife to make a sandwich let alone operate on someone when you don't even read pre assessment quite clearly stating I suffer from anaphylaxis if I have anything containing citric acid. In addition because I know I can't have the prep stuff I know drinking milk has the same effect on me as I am allergic to milk. So in order to empty my bowel in readiness I drank milk the day before and got the desired effect. They wouldn't even consider this as satisfactory and refused to do the test. So now I am home in excruciating pain, chronic diarrhea to the point of passing blood with every watery motion and test not done. Well certainly won't be going back even if it means I have something seriously wrong that could be life threatening.

The lady who contacted me from clinic on the Tuesday and Wednesday raised the issue of the prep medication with the doctor who didn't even bother to look at her comments. If he had he could have cancelled the appointment before I went for covid test or found something they could have prescribed instead for prep. Was astounded at the suggestion they would get a doctor to prep me something for next time. There isn't going to be a next time. I would rather die than go through all that again.

It was great having mainly the same midwives during the day and night for continuity and also as you build a relationship with them and during a vulnerable experience it really made me feel more comfortable.
