I attended with a tear to my calf and was throughly examined by the nurse practitioner on shift. I felt reassured having visited a&e as I wasn’t sure to what extent I had damaged my calf, with not being able to put weight on the leg. I was given clear advice in treating myself at home in terms of recovering and letting it heal effectively. I was given some crutches to help me get about.

Suggested improvements
Due to the car park being rebuilt, I had to be dropped off further away and did struggle a bit to get to a&e with the longer walk in my condition, but a member of the public noticed my struggle and pushed me in to a&e on one of the blue chairs. Upon leaving a&e a friend who was working in a&e made sure I got back outside to the pick up point with assistance.
