As a parent in with a young child where you cannot leave them to pop to the shop. I was there from 8am until 11 at night and myself and my child were only being offered 1 drink all day. By the time we had got into the ward from A&E we have also missed lunch so my child was offered food until tea, luckily I had time to grab snacks for my child before I went but if that wasn’t the case my child would have gone hungry.

I understand staff are busy but if there are facilities on a ward to make drinks etc if they could let you know and show you where so you can grab yourself x
