Kerry the nurse at DPOW A&E was the most friendly and professional nurse I have ever come across. She made my visit (where I was in extreme pain and distressed) much more easier and I felt safe and looked after. Kerry made all the patients feel at ease and spoke with kindness, which is a huge deal under the circumstances in A&E. We listened to her rushing around attending patients and mentoring others, all whilst dealing with rude and difficult people (which she did very well) This lady is a credit to your hospital and I would like you to pass on these comments.

Suggested improvements
As A&e did not have all the medication I needed I was told to go to the hospital pharmacy. And so my partner wheeled me along into the hospital. I was in a huge amount of pain and was leaking fluids from below at this point. My partner kindly asked the pharmacy if we could be fast tracked due to me being very ill etc. But they refused and said we would need to wait our turn. I took a bad turn whilst waiting and was sick in the toilets (I was on morphine). This is a ridiculous process and anyone from A&e should be prioritised, I have never felt so embarrassed. At one point an NHS office worker stopped in the corridor and asked if I was OK. You need to review this process urgently. Shocking behaviour from the pharmacy too.
