Share review of Diana Princess of Wales Hospital
I feel suffering with excruciating pain affected my responses at times. However the A&E doctor was thorough in his findings. I was given pain relief via syringe and this appeared to ease my pain but I was sick as pain came back and throughout my attendance at the department. He consulted with me on my choices and called gynaecology department. Two ladies visited within 45 minutes and did a thorough examination abs took a cervical smear even after I told them I was being treated for cancer. Once they left I was given three pain relief tablets to ease my pain which it did but sick again and then had a CT Scan as requested by gynaecology and doctor agreed as he said it may be felopien tube strangulation due my mass on right side with cyst. Before coming home gynaecology doctor came to discuss my concerns and he concurred that it could be right side dust on ovaries could have burst but would review my CT Scan when able and MDT to be held to discuss my case. Considers an admittance from A&E if my pain had not faded within two hours. Eventually discharged home as pain reduced and over counter pain relief advised paracetamol and ibuprophen which has continued to reduce my pain but still in pain .
