Dr. [name removed] was open minded and respectful he did not make me feel invalidated as a non-binary person. I felt like I had a lot of control over my treatment pathways. Did not feel like I was being pushed towards anything. Generally very supportive.

Suggested improvements
There was some documents that I would have been asked to send beforehand to make the appointment run smoothly. Maybe asking patients about previous appointment dates beforehand.

Thank you. You make a very useful suggestion which I have forwarded to the service manager. Best wishes, Hugh Jones, Patient Experience Manager.

Thank you for your feedback. For initial and secondary appointments, the Gender Clinic includes information detailing what documentation will be helpful to make subsequent appointments run smoothly. Each appointment in the Gender Clinic is followed up with an outpatient summary letter that details what was discussed and contains a plan at the end of the letter which indicates the next milestones and goals agreed with the patient.
