To be aware that there was so much help available, that I was not made aware of at the beginning, so you a while I paid for private help.
Thank you for all that you supplied for my husband and your help.
The care provided by you was excellent to my husband. It took away the stress to myself and my family as my husband came to the end of his life. Knowing that you were caring made me feel more confident about what was happening and they treated my husband with the utmost dignity.
Always one to one care. Staff that all care and always cheerful and willing to help on any matter as well as treatment needs, if the bell rings you get an answer to it not half hour later when you forget why you rang it. Food is of good choice and well dished out but most of all staff care about you and listen to you and what you want and need.
Good! Staff! The greatest resource of this hospital is the kindness of the staff facilities. Awesome for short stays with a nice walk.
Cafe- fantastic facility for family o get away.
Improvements: please tarmac more of the woodland walk! After a week of the tarmac'd aka mum went so crazy!
Try to have same sex nurses with patients, it protects dignity.
The nurses were very kind and patient. I can honestly say its the best care I've ever required from any hospice. :).
The nurses staff we met were sympathetic and helpful.
The service was called upon very late in the day, so we had limited use of it and only a very limited number of slots were available.
The care my husband received was first class, Lisa was wonderful.
I don't know how myself and daughter would have managed without hospice at home. They are the most understanding, caring people you could hope to meet. They are very special people. The nurses would talk to my husband Keith as a person not as a number. I cannot put into words what a lovely lot of people you have. When myself or my daughter were upset they would chat to us and listen to our concerns and help us to come to terms with what was happening.
- Always welcomed pleasantly.
- Staff friendly.
- Always asked relevant questions about my lymphoedema experiences between visits.
- Always made good suggestions for self care improvement.
- Lymphasist very helpful.
I feel cared for which I feel is most important I don't think that can be improved upon.
