The nurses that came were lovely and helped my mother and I. However, I think the assessment process needs to be looked at. I was not going to put my mum in a hospice as I waited her to spend her last days at home in our house. On the day of her assessment, to my astonishment, I was told that she wasn't "eligible" despite her clearly dying, weighing 6.0 stone and low BP. The very next day she collapsed and lost the use of her legs I was doing my best to care for her single handedly and coud have really done with support from your team. We only received support 48 hrs before she died. That can't be right, can it?

Service was excellent, very caring informative. Was very reassuring and always spoke to us about how we were feeling as well as our mum. A top service and it was lovely to have the nurses part of our family.

The nurses were able to help assess the patient's needs. We were comforted and supported at a very difficult time as relatives and the patient too. Thank you! The nurses were marvelous. The only thing we would have changed was not to introduce yourselves as from "hospice at home to the patient"- but as nurse because it was so 'final' and difficult for both family and patient.

My husband was terminally ill. The hospice at here ladies enabled him to stay at home and gave me a much needed breaks from the time to do shopping etc. Both myself and my husband were treated with dignity and much humour. I honestly don't think the service could be improved.

In my view, my care has been outstanding. Appointments run on time, I have been made to feel relaxed and not hurried. The environment is is quiet, not manic as in some hospital situations. The nurses discuss options and you feel very much part of the decision process. Advice is also given in conversation. I have a lot of confidence in the nursing staff.
