I only had a nurse for 2 days before mum passed but I felt so much better for Sally being there, not only to help my mum be as comfortable as possible, but she was also a great help for me.
Sally explained what was going on and I asked for a call if I wasn't there and something started to happen, she rang me to say I think you should come up. I got to spend the last hours with mum.

The help provided was "night sitters". This enabled family members to get rest. The nurses were very helpful and kept us informed to my husband's condition and listened and took at board our requests.
The only improvement is if more nights cover could have been provided but we were extremely grateful for the help we received.

Thank you for your feedback regarding increasing the night cover. Presently our commissioning is for primarily a day time service with Marie Curie supporting nights, where possible. We will try and offer nights where possible and where resources will allow.
