All the staff have been kind and caring. They have been accommodating to us and our family members - nothing feels like too much trouble. Special thanks to Ray, June and Sarah S for looking after dad so well and making him (and us) smile!

The communication by telephone was helpful. The nurses who attended my husband were quiet, kind, gentle, observant and sensitive. They treated us with dignity, were self effacing and enabled us to relax. I and my family are so grateful that the hospice at home cared for my husband and for us.

The care, compassion and understanding given by he carer to all concerned.
Being able to have a bit of time to pop to the shops without worry.
The information given on what to do and expect when dealing with the care of another person when you are on your own.

Care from an experienced practitioner. Building on previous care was excellent.
In-depth guidance on massage techniques was again to a high standard.

Experienced knowledgeable staff.
Visits not to co-inside with carers. Reduce number of different staff as possible.

Thank you for your feedback. We are working on processes to manage visits to patients, unfortunately we don't have a mechanism in place to know when carers are due to visit. We will continue to minimise the number of different nurses that visit for Hospice at Home, but have no ability to control numbers for other teams that may be involved in the persons care

The 2 nurses who visited us were extremely lovely and very caring - unfortunately they do seem very thin on the ground - I suppose that's today's story!
