Informative, excellent help always available. Caring friendly environment.
From the time the palliating care team were referred to my husband (the patient) and to myself (the carer) our lives were made a little easier. Abi Herbert who was our palliative care representative went out of her way to talk to and discuss with us David's overall care and well being. Nothing was too much trouble. Other areas of care were introduces as and when needed without any fuss at all doctors were kept update. Medication was checked and double check to allow my husband's pain to be controlled. He and I were treated with the utmost respect and dignity for which I am truly grateful.
The nurses were so caring they included us with everything they did.
They put our minds at rest, talked to my husband even though he could not answer them laughed with him got smiles from him.
All the nurses that cared for my late wife were kind, respectful as well as caring. They all chatted to my wife and if she needed anything doing they obliged with no hesitation.
As for improvement, I don't think you can do any more than what you are already doing.
Keep up the good work.
I liked the fact that the visits were never rushed and there was always plenty of time to fully discuss all issues.
Good regular reviews of my wife's pain management and quick changes to prescriptions.
Good communication between SPCN and GP.
Quick allocation of hospital bed on denetre when urgently required.
Quick allocation of aids for my wife eg. Wheelchair, frames, both left etc.
Good care, concern and support for my well-being as my wife's cares, much appreciated.
Many thanks.
Knowledgeable staff, kind and courteous treatment. Prompt attention. I cannot fault any aspect of the care I receive.
Very informative about my condition.
Very friendly staff, and my nurse, very helpful.
Friendly kind considerate wonderful lovely people.
These people knew exactly what to do and when to do it - from talking to me (who was under much stress and very tired and worried) to making me smile. Talking to Arthur re-assuring him - loving him - holding our hands - without without asking especially when the going was getting had. Respect and dedication given at every step of the way we could not have asked for more.
Thank you all.
My care today was excellent.
