Thank you for you feedback about flexibility in ‘quiet time’. The concept of quiet time is to ensure that all staff caring for patients are encouraged not to interrupt the patient over a specified period, and as in most other ward environments is usually the period after lunch. Nurses will be encouraged to explore with patients who have specific needs to see if a different ‘quiet time’ can be accommodated, but this cannot be guaranteed as the medical and therapy team may have conflicting priorities at other times in the day
