The support received was superb. We had a HCA who come to us daily in the last week of my mums life and she sorted a hospital bed, medication and also talked us through what to expect. She guided me on when to involve my children and provided booklets which she went through with us. My only though was it was a shame this support isn't provided a littler earlier as struggling to cope with a family at the time.
