I felt that I was thoroughly listened to and assessed and then everything was discussed with me. The appointment was being used as a teaching opportunity for someone in training and I felt this actually enhanced the attention given to me as the physiotherapist and student physiotherapist went through the process extremely thoroughly.

My only concern was that, despite being the first appointment of the day I was left waiting for about 20 minutes. I had had to rush the school run to make it on time myself, so it was mildly irritating that it turned out that I actually could have done the school run as per normal and still made it in time for when the appointment started. I completely understand how and why this happened, with the student receiving a briefing before the appointment, but a brief comment to explain the delay would have been appreciated. However, it was a minor thing and only mattered because I had had to deal with a grumpy teenager first thing, and once the appointment began I was treated with absolute respect.
