I have to bring my mother to podiatry. She is very elderly diabetic and sometimes unable to eat breakfast as ambulance arrives at 08.30. We get to podiatry at 09.10. We then have to wait until 10.30 for an appt which literally takes 5 mins. In all other departments transport Drs apts are at 10 am which wouldn't be too bad. There is no where to get a hot drink or any thing to eat. Waiting that long makes her quite ill. We then of course have to wait again for transport to come home a 5 min apt takes all morning. I am not complaining about the podiatrists just the system for transport pt surely they should be seen first.
