Considerate of feelings.
Would like to continue with work and progress.
Physiotherapist and O T S work hard and are good at instructing.
After a emergency c-section I was transfered to Hazel ward. I was told to drink fluids as I was catheterized but was not given any water until 2 am (8 hrs after I first asked).
I felt very weak after having my baby, I hadn't eaten for 36 hrs.
I was told not to get of bed to get breakfast (night staff) nobody bought me anything to eat even though I asked. Day staff gave me.-
Thorough, great at answering questions, kindness.
Friendly and helpful midwives at Abbey Meads GP Surgery. I did have 2 instances where I turned up to appointments that were not booked in as the midwife said they had been (the same midwife both times), but other than that I've had no problems.
Good- regular midwife appointments.
Don't feel rushed during appts.
Seen same midwife at most appts.
Encouraged to birth the way I want (home birth).
Improvements- none yet.
The midwife was knowledgeable with questions and always helpful.
The antenatal classes were quite informative.
Emma has been amazing throughout my pregnancy It always feels like she would do anything for me is always on hand for advice and support. I feel comfortable not anxious going to my midwife appointments.
I feel very supported.
I am extremely pleased with the service I received during my pregnancy and after care.
