The two midwife's I saw at my surgery (Libby and Catherine) were brilliant so thank you to them. When in hospital the the midwife's on Hazel ward were all fantastic so again thank you. There was one on the weekend that i believe was from the white horse suite that I did not like and found intrusive. She never said who she was so i did not know she was a midwife at the time. All the other midwife's always asked if they could help me with trying to breastfeed. I had already had a lot of help for the other midwife's and Annetta. Who were all great but this one instantly said i was doing it wrong and started trying to move my arms and sticking her fingers to move my breast. I was holding my baby in one of the positions that worked and all the other midwife's asked before touching. They also said i had to find what was comfortable for me and my baby and were not forceful. This was not a great experience at the end of my stay as it spoilt what great work the others had done on this. I was tired and wanted to get home so my patience was limited as my baby had a restless night. Plus my husband and I had just settled her down to then have her and myself pulled about was not great timing so it would have been good that she asked and introduced herself like all the others had done.
