My daughter was referred to The Lighthouse Childrens Centre for an ADHD Assessment. We had a horrible meeting with a very Rude Doctor who made inappropriate comments about my own SEN conditions which were not relevant to the meeting. We waited 10 weeks for a report from LHC about our meeting without knowing the outcome, and only received the report after numerous phone calls and complaints. It's now been 5 months since our initial appointment, we weren't offered any of the additional support as mentioned on their website, and only put forward for further assessments after I pushed for them, which she was then diagnosed with. There was no multi-disciplinary management of her case as mentioned on their website and we've been forced to continue with the Doctor I have reputedly asked to be removed from her case. We're still waiting for clarification on further assessments and have been offered no support at all - I'm disgusted with the level of treatment my daughter has received and as a result is not receiving adequate SEN support as school.

Our experience seeing Jenny Packer for speech therapy was first class. I cannot rate highly enough her knowledge, skill set, professionalism and dedication. My daughter is a little older than many children Jenny sees but she was able to easily speak to my daughter in just the right way to keep her attention. The process she took my daughter through with regards to her stutter was incredible to witness and the surge in her confidence thanks to Jenny is remarkable. Jenny is a very special soul and a credit to the NHS. During therapy my daughter was dealing with a severe mental health crisis, serious bullying and harassment with which the police are involved AND the sudden death of a close family friend. Jenny was warm, supportive and able to tailor sessions to fit my daughters presentation at the drop of a hat. We thank her for showing so much care and empathy and confidently move forward with new skills and understanding she has given us. We thank her also for making us feel so supported and empowered. We will miss miss. Thankyou

I had a Lobectomy - lower right as I had a carcinoid tumour. I am also 75-70% deaf (left right)

With the restrictions placed upon us all because of Covid I think all that was possible to be done WAS done. Communication was excellent and I was particularly happy with my liaison Emma-Lou, she was brilliant.

I’m not sure what you mean by gave your answer I have emotionally unstable, personality, disorder I also suffer from depression and anxiety I am waiting to see a therapist and I have not heard back yet which I am getting very frustrated about

I don’t know, really would be nice to talk to someone still waiting to hear. I spoke to someone from the South no Rochford mental health team, but still no luck someone phones me every now and again to check up on me from Therapy from you and I speak to a nice lady from Oasis, who phones me every week but otherwise I don’t know I just would like someone to help me

My experience was pleasant. As the nurse that took care of me, made me feel at ease was polite and friendly, while being competent. Thank you I was anxious but was made to feel assured straight away.

I was treated with respect by the psychologist at all times.

You could only do better if you had stopped me having a stroke in the first place.

Since a unfaithful marriage breakdown whilst serving in the army I was admitted into the priory for depression. Although I got over it it had a lasting trust issue. My recent long term relationship wash, I felt a copy cat breakdown relationship. Although I never I had PCSD and after speaking to an old friend from Iraq I think the penny dropped. My recent partner was unfaithful. I related that to my marriage breakdown. I was serving in Iraq when my ex wife was unfaithful. I was speaking to an old friend about Iraq and what we went through and then that related to my marriage break down wich in turn related to my recent relationship break down. It’s a big vicious circle, Al relating to each other. I hope this reads like it is n my head.

Bekka was absolutely amazing. Even though I did try to take my life I believe deep down it was a cry for help. She is an angel in disguise. Could she have been any better. No. I will sincerely miss her and cried when she said it would be our last meeting. Xxx.

The online CBT course was very good and worked well with the CBT phone course and the Counselling also was very good, both courses / treatments have helped me to better understand Depression / Anxiety and how challenge / cope more with my mental state / thoughts. The counselor I had was great, she was kind and caring and helped me a lot. I would recommend this service to everyone.

More Counselors so that patients could get treatment quicker.
