Speaking with Leigh Kiernan, the mental health nurse, was overall such a validating and optimistic experience. I really felt she listened and respected my own opinions about my treatment. Whilst fully explaining to me all my available options, as well as potential risks and benefits. She just really took the time to empathise with my situation; and helped me get treatment in an extremely prompt manner. I left the phone call with Leigh feeling much more optimistic and supported.
