I've struggled with mental illness for so long it's part of my identity and will always be there in the background, but thanks to the treatment I've received, I feel more alive and able to cope than I have in a long time.

Communication - my therapist went off sick but nobody in the office was aware, so I spent a whole day worrying about potentially missing a session because I didn't have the Teams link. I was impressed to get a call from the Head of Service the next day though. I had to wait several weeks for treatment to resume - not my therapist's fault, there was nobody else with her specialism at the time to pick up with me.
