Extremely impressed with the professionalism of the therapists involved in my husband's care. I felt that both he and I were listened to and supported throughout the process and helped towards achieving his specific short-term needs and goals.

Suggested improvements
Too few therapy sessions. Perhaps, given the nature of the therapy, more support for the patient to look to achieve long-term goals. An offer of on-going Community review, if required, and/or re-assessment of the patients needs after 6 months, 1 year, 18 months. More support/resources for family members who want to be actively involved in their loved ones therapy and recovery. Staffing shortages should be addressed to ensure that these critical services can be supported. The staff even had problems finding a suitable venue to hold the group therapy sessions. A suitable room in which to hold the group sessions wasn't available at the hospital.
