Christine Thomas delivers this course in a really user friendly way, clearly communicating to participants how they can improve their health and what diabetes is. The X-pert programme is excellently organised with a dedicated trainer in Christine Thomas and education co-ordinator and Education Assistant who are all vital in making the course run smoothly. The delivery of the course on-line makes it accessible to all those participants who work full-time and cannot make the face to face group meetings. The most enjoyable week understanding different dietary approaches. The most useful week understanding long term complications of diabetes. The handbook is set out in a clear and useful format making it easy to follow and look up information at a later date.

The only improvement I can think of is for the participant to receive an email at the completion of the course for additional contacts like weight management, eye screening services, mental health services like vita health group, extra. It was a brilliant course and I would recommend it to anyone who has received results which indicate they are pre-diabetic or diabetic.
