My niece suffers with severe psychosis and I was struggling to cope. Her support worker Imogen could see this and very kindly passed my number to a psychologist colleague. Elena was so very helpful. She was very easy to talk to. She listened and gave me some really useful tools to help me going forward. She referred back to things that I had said and gave me helpful suggestions as well as visual information which I respond well to. Elena was professional but also warm and compassionate which has made such a difference in regards to my mental health. I am grateful for her help and I feel better able to cope not just with my niece’s situation but other aspects of my life (which I shared with Elena). I feel fortunate to have received such great support.
