I have only met a doctor face to face once for my medication review at reunion house in Clacton.I was allowed to bring my carer and have my therapy dog with me for the brief interview. As i have a mixture of long term mental disorders including agoraphobia and ADHA,Bipolar, and personality disorders including EUPD and APD that make it very difficult for me to leave my home so i had a phonecall to discuss the medication that i would start and come off the sodium valproate that i've been on for over 20years.I would liked to have been told more about the new medication and haven't heard anything from that doctor since that phone call.I have not been given any information or new tablets either from my GP and i'm worried about the change especially as i was all geared up to start it but now i'm feeling less positive and anxious about it all.
