I received CBT for panic disorder and GAD. It was effecting my life and was making me consider being signed off sick at work because I couldn’t cope with the stress. I only felt safe at home in my bed because didn’t want to risk having a panic attack. I would also fear when the next panic attack would be. Throughout my treatment, Eleanor Braganza was so compassionate and understanding with my condition. She 100% listened to everything that was troubling me and made me feel like I ‘wasn’t going mad’ and that I was truly suffering from mental health issues. It was like I was talking to a friend and I learnt so much about my own mental health and how to cope with day to day life. Now, I can present to people at work, drive to new places and I can cope being in uncomfortable situations- like going on the tube. Before therapy I would have panic attacks on the tube and public transport and now I can do it after exposure therapy that Eleanor led me through.

Suggested improvements
The service would be even better if there was an after service was accessible where you could re-read all previous work in therapy
