We were in a great deal of difficulty when I had a seizure and I was already caring for my husband who was ill. Neither of us could then drive so we could not get to the doctor, hospital or chemist without asking for help. Maria put us in touch with organisations who could help us and checked us over each week as we were not able to easily get to the doctor. She was very kind and helpful and put us in touch with organizations like carers etc that would help us. She always rang beforehand and came at a convenient time for us.
