Midwifes are lovely and feel I can make an appointment whenever I need to.
Appointments are on time and I had a very friendly midwife.
Everything was brilliant. Nothing could be improved. All the midwifes in and out of hospital were lovely.
Always friendly and welcoming keen to explain everything you would like to know.
Very friendly midwives, with extensive knowledge.
I feel I was well looked after by all midwifes and when I felt I needed help/support it was there immediately.
The service is excellent apart from the way in which appointments are allocated. The midwife is only at my surgery one afternoon a week and when I make an appointment I cannot choose the time - I am forced to take the next available appointment. If I would prefer an appointment later in the afternoon I have to wait and ring up a few days later when more slots have been taken - however sometimes there are then none left. Considering its supposed to be about patient choice I don't see why I can't choose the time I want!
Friendly service
The postnatal care from the community midwives (Colette and Cath Christie) and maternity health care assistant (Rachael) was excellent. Rachael called me several times to check how breastfeeding was going and reassured me I was doing a good job and that my daughter's feeding pattern was normal. Colette and Cath were friendly, reassuring, knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable asking them questions and also felt they had lots of time for me, when I'm sure they had other appointments to get to. Excellent service, thank you very much.
The Antenatal team have all been very friendly and helpful, answering any questions I've had
