Home birth was a fantastic experience again. Very fast labour and birth which I found a little stressful but the midwife was amazing. (Diane Cole) calm, friendly and reassuring. I felt in-charge of my birth and after in the first hours of her life. Diane seemed to find a brilliant balance between controlling the situation and taking a step back allowing free movement etc. It was also lovely to have a known midwife (she did my back in appointment and previous pregnancy), don't know if going to get that in hospital.
