I am writing on behalf of my mother in law and would like to say that the care she received from the district nurses enabled her to stay in her own home for much longer than we expected and the team became part of her extended family caring for her as a special person who needed help with her long term diabetes and not just a patient. I would especially like to mention Sharon Fletcher who became such a support to the patient and contacted us every time she had the slightest concern. The patient loved all the nurses who visited and they helped to make her life safe and happy.
