The care I received post - natal has been absolutely fantastic. The midwives on the delivery suite and labour ward were wonderful however the service I have had from the community team has been exceptional. As a new mum it can be daunting bringing your baby home, however I felt fully supported by an excellent team who I trusted. I would like to pay thanks inparticular to the community MCA's. I found breastfeeding very difficult at the beginning but both MCA's were there to offer help, support and encouragement through a very challenging time for me. 7 weeks later and I think I've cracked it but it wouldn't have been without their help. Darlington should be very proud of the care they offer to new parents throughout the whole.
