Basically I came for my MRI scan on 27/07/22. This was my very first private appointment via Bupa. + never been in this new hospital before. I love that I felt welcomed. Easy check-in. The cafe is lovely. The lady (by the sectary guided myself & my sweet, mother. Class/state of the art hospital. Very clean environment. Ok atmosphere. There's couple of issues that I've experienced. Basically I was not informed that I may be injected, before the MRI scan.
As a deaf person, please be deaf aware. (This is not the first time I've experience). Unfortunately. To keeps on reminding the nurses to remove their facemask, so I can lip-read.
& lastly, one of the nice lady nurse (Maria) I think her name is, basically was quite fast when asking me the questionnaires on the fill-out form.

Overall, very satisfied with the care I've received. Thank you. Appreciate it.

For once visiting a medical centre was not as stressful as it could be. Everyone was very pleasant and the centre was of a high standard.
I went for an Executive Health check-up with my wife. it was disorganized and somewhat chaotic. There were also a number of treatments that I am now required to go back for a repeat which is a hassle and should not be necessary,
my wife and I will not repeat the experience, poo value for money.

I am very pleased with the skills and the high professional standard of the Surgeon Mr Nadeem Mushtaq.
I was happy with my meeting with the consultant , who recommended some tests I should ask my GP to arrange for me.
I asked my consultant to please post me her report and recommendayions in hard copy. I struggle with certain aspects of online comunication.
A few days later I received an email from your clinic saying that I could access my informtion by logging on and registering ....at this point I do not have the capacity or patience to dream up another password and negotiate another 'portal'. I am of a generation ( DOB 1952) who is not fluent in such things and not really very interested. A letter will do.
After two weeks I had recieved no information by post, so I called the consultant's secretary and asked her to please send me a hard copy . She agreed to do so. Two more weeks have passed and I am still waiting for my information to arrive in the mail.
I need my consultants feedback immediately so I can book the tests she recommends.
Below is a simple suggestion as to how you might better serve and maintain as customers , members of an older generation who have chosen to use your services.
Visited Portland Place twice now. My first visit was not straightforward as I was ushered to the wrong floor twice and check in was not straightforward. It did not give me any confidence. However, my second visit was much improved and straightforward. Unsure though why I have to repeat my personal details twice. Once at check in and later at another floor. However, the staff are always polite. The gentleman at the door offered a welcoming smile when we arrived and another goodbye smile when we left.
Overall, a very good experience.
Took 3 tests to find vein
Did not explain all the effects of the treatment - dry mouth and hot flush
