All excellent except (very) late arrival of radiographer for the X-ray in Portland Place on 20 October. This led to a lengthy back up of patients some of whom waited in excess of 45 minutes even though they were the first patients of the day. The delay may have been exceptional and out of the hands of the radiographer but the reception staff didn’t communicate that there was a problem to the patients in the waiting room. Had they done that then they would have managed the expectations of the waiting patients who were wondering what was going on.

Communicate issues to those waiting to manage expectations.

All other experiences were exceptional.
