In the past week I got a string of CC emails and pop-up notices on MyChart cancelling, changing, and confirming various tests and appointments. Reading them all, I got muddled. So we turned up[ an hour early for a pre-operation set of tests. The ECG was quick and efficient but the pre-operative assessment nurse was very busy and a little slow so we has to wait a bit and then my wife had to leave for another appointment.

Make an appointment and stick to it.

My surgeon, Dr Richard Cohen, phoned me directly in person in the evening to make absolutely sure that my preparations for the procedure were exactly right.
