Provide blankets Communicate with me whilst under the scanner Apply pressure to my wound Wait with me until I wasn’t shivering and faint Have someone in the sub waiting room Take vitals after the above issues

When consenting I reported that I get very cold and can often feel faint or nauseous after my scan. I changed and was cannulated and then after being informed they were running late I asked for a blanket. No blanket came and when called for the scan I asked again for a blanket and none arrived. Other than being informed that they were entering to inject the contrast and that the scan was over there was no communication with me (about the length of series or to check if I was OK.) When the cannula was removed no pressure was put on and whilst shivering in the sub waiting area I started bleeding a lot and felt faint. I shouted for help twice and no one came. I then walked (holding the wall for support) to the reception and no one was there so I continued to the main reception and asked for help. When back in the waiting room no vitals were taken and I was left alone again until someone appeared to redress the wound (and they brought a blanket!)
