Unfortunately when i got to floor 1, there was no one at reception. A few people came and went but no one acknowledged me. About 15 minutes later after repeatedly looking up as I was curious about whether I was checked in or not, someone finally spoke to me and asked what I was waiting for. I then had the ultrasound however it started late. No one explained the delay. It was a 9am appointment so it’s difficult to understand the reasons for 10 minutes lateness. I was 15 minutes early to the appointment as instructed which just meant I’d wasted about half an hour of my time waiting around. I also had a blood test- again I got to the department and there was sadly no one there to welcome me or speak to me. I waited sat on a chair for about ten minutes before someone came out to take the test. That said, the check in staff and service on ground floor were impeccable. Friendly, welcoming, efficient and really clear.

Suggested improvements
Reception team should have acknowledged me and been warm and friendly to welcome me and find out what I needed. Reduced wait times - appointments should be on time always.
