I felt in safe+extremely competent hands throughout my 5-day stay at the Cleveland Clinic, with the consultant surgeon and anaesthetist and their teams looking after me so well that I recovered in no time. I didn't actually want to leave!!! I clearly benefited from the attentive nursing staff post op, supported by cheerful caterers (such a treat!), all working day and night, as well as the very helpful+friendly physiotherapy team - always available close by - who couldn't have been more supportive. They managed to get me confident+strong enough within only a few days to climb back up to our 3rd floor flat on my own. They succeeded, with extra help from a lovely ambulance "stair assist" crew. Also, your experienced pharmacist got my meds ready in time for a speedy departure, having patiently explained everything. I just wish I had everyone's names to thank them all individually, but you know who you are!!!!! I am so very grateful for all your help.

The care was excellent as were the facilities.l was a NHS patient but was treated like royalty by everybody. Dr Melikian and his team were fantastic

Once again the treatment I received at Cleveland was very good and so impressive. My only 'nag' would be I was put in an Isolation room (room 526) and it seemed most nurses and catering staff had no idea what order you should press the buttons to get in room and it was continuously beeping. I do believe something should be done when a patient does not need this either to be turned off or staff trained. It becomes very annoying after a while. When given option to leave that afternoon or next morning I could not wait to get out. I also have stayed at Cleveland a couple of other times in other rooms and I felt being in this room you were not as frequently visited, took longer to answer the call when rarely used and as I was told to drink plenty of water sometimes would be left for a couple of hours without any despite requesting this. I also found it frustrating that I had to wait nearly 3 hours for Pharmacy for the medication I had to take away - it only come when the porter who was showing my ambulance ride home got frustrated waiting and chased. The care medically though can not be faulted.
